If you're new to sports betting or just want a refresher on the different ways to wager, here's a quick breakdown of the most common bet types available in the tg775 sportsbook.
The simplest bet — you pick which team or athlete wins the match. No spreads, no conditions. The potential payout is reflected in the odds shown next to each selection.
One side is given a virtual advantage (or deficit) before the match starts. Common in Basketball — for example, a -6.5 spread on a favourite means they need to win by 7 or more for that bet to pay out. This levels the betting odds between mismatched opponents.
You bet on whether the combined total score, goals, or points in a match will go over or under a line set by the sportsbook. Popular in basketball (total points) and football (total goals).
Combine two or more selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out. The potential return is higher because the odds multiply — but so does the risk. A single loss cancels the whole ticket.
Place bets while a match is already in progress. Odds update in real time based on the current score, game time, and match momentum. In-play betting is available on selected events in the tg775 sportsbook.
Odds are the foundation of every sports bet. They tell you two things: the implied probability of an outcome, and how much your bet stands to return if it wins. tg775 displays odds in Decimal format by default, which is the most intuitive format for most Filipino bettors.
In Decimal odds, your total return (including your stake) equals your bet amount multiplied by the odds shown. So if you bet ₱500 at odds of 2.10, a win returns ₱1,050 total — your ₱500 back plus ₱550 in winnings. If you bet ₱500 at odds of 1.65, a win returns ₱825 total. The lower the odds, the higher the implied probability of that outcome; the higher the odds, the less likely the sportsbook considers it — but the bigger the potential payout.

Sports betting involves real financial risk. Odds reflect the sportsbook's assessment of probabilities, and there is no bet type or strategy that guarantees long-term profit. Outcomes depend on how actual sporting events unfold — which cannot be controlled or predicted with certainty.
tg775 encourages all bettors to treat sports betting as entertainment with a defined budget. Decide on a maximum PHP amount you're comfortable losing before each session and stop when you reach it.
